Are you leaving money on the table?
Written by Amy Harrill March 24th 2018
I am going to take a guess that you'd like to earn more money this year than you did the last?  Here is the good news, making more money doesn't mean reinventing the wheel.  I meet so many leaders that want more money and they want more time to do what they want to do, but are left doing the things they are least excited about without predictability in their cashflow.

To make more money we have to increase our capacity to influence.  Influence those we lead, those we serve and those that we want to serve.  You see, as your company grows everything naturallys get more involved.  There are more people and communication needs to improve.  Communication will make or break the culture and rather than putting money in your pocket its falling through the cracks.  If we walked through the halls of your company what would we hear people saying about you and the culture they work in?

What would you do with ten more quality leaders on your team?   When I ask leaders this question they say, "the sky is the limit".  Multiplying your self is of the highest importance when we are talking about improving earning power.  People want to run for leaders that want to empower them.  Who are you developing?

"Do you have plenty of time to do all that you want and need to do in a day?" This is the question that John Maxwell poses at the beginning of chapter two in his book Developing the leader within you 2.0.   Is your answer "no"?  Time management is not the answer.

The truth of the matter is we cannot control time so therefore we cannot manage it.  Coach and speaker Jamie Cornell wrote, "Time cannot and will not be managed, and you will never get more of it.  The problem is rooted in the choices you are making with others and your own choices.  You choose how to use it every moment of every day, whether you believe you do or not."

Each day you refuse to reprioritize; your company will never reach it's full potential.  Communication, development and priorties are the most common pot holes in the road paved to financial freedom.
