Bulls Eye.

You have a dream, you invest in your dream and the dream comes to life. With enthusiasm and energy you take it to the marketplace, only for it to fall flat, have little return on investment or you can't get those same results again.  Then discouragement sets in and you are second guessing  your whole life.  Does this sound familiar?

I know how you feel, I felt the same way when I started my first business from nothing.  I had some success that allowed me to justify the investment of time and money, however, if this is what "being an owner" was all about I was unsure of what I wanted to do.  Stay in the business?  Close the business?  Invest more money and time to learn a different way?  Hire people?  The questions were endless.

Here is what I knew, facebook alone is bigger than the internet.  It, literally, has more users than the internet had in 2004 when facebook was founded.   It is also the largest platform for advertisers and has changed how people and businesses connect.  I have found that we no longer connect with people as a business but as a person.  Just take a look at your industry leader and their social media platforms.  Do you see pictures of everyday activities?  Do you see the leader themselves in more casual attire?  Do you hear corporate lingo or everyday speak?  If you don't see these things than you might not have working knowledge of who you industry leader is and that is a whole different conversation.  What is my point?  My point is that I knew I needed to really learn how to leverage social media platforms to meet my clients where they are.

So I learned the rhythm of social media and how to scale up visibility with my target market.  I knew if they saw me and connected with me that I could present a product that would change peoples lives.  Literally, shift their thinking, kindle the fire of passion and reignite vision.  So i did.  I paid the money and I learned alot about what I didn't know.

The very first thing I had to accept, I had not, really, focused in on my target market.  What is a target market or niche?  In traditional concepts we would say that a target or niche would be: Teachers, Parents, Pregnant Women, Plumbers ect.  However, I would argue a target market, in 2017, is any group of people with a similar problem in common.

Lets discuss "target market or niche" as social media speaks of this.  Facebook, specifically, owns seventy one companies which include instagram and the WhatsApp.  Facebook has an ads platform where you can build ads that target specific groups of people.

The process to identify this group and then identify their problems and then identify what they want is in depth but does not require alot of time.  Myself and my clients go through this process, connect with new clients and begin scaling earnings within 2 weeks time.  The evolution of social media and advertising on these platforms has literally given us a way to measure metrics over a shorter period of time, learn whats necessary to change and re-enter the target market with better results.   You can repeat the process over and over.  As their problems evolve and desires change you can adapt your product to the targets needs.

If you feel stuck or feel no matter what you do you can't get to the bulls eye.  You are not alone.  You can hit the target and increase profits whenever you want to.   All it takes is know how.
